Yes, you are so correct! I don't know that much of anything is truly learned by osmosis...we need to see Gospel values being lived to learn them. We need to witness people with different viewpoints respecting each other and engaging with each other and we need to learn the skills to do likewise. We need to experience family values as we grow up in order to learn them. Thank you for reminding us of the importance of sharing our wisdom with the next generation by witnessing with our lives and our words.

Catholic doctrine is not learned by osmosis......there must be an intentional and purposeful instruction so that the next generations learn correctly.
